La Muralla is an informal group of producers in San Agustín, one of the southernmost municipalities in Huila. Osito started working in San Agustín long before we even had a legal entity, and some of the first producers we met here are still part of our core work there. On average, this is the youngest group of producers we partner with, with many between 25 and 35 years old. With this youth comes energy and a passion for producing high-quality specialty coffee, an energy that is simply contagious.
In mid-2022, we opened our own work point in the center of San Agustín, where we can now receive coffee from even more producers than before. This way, the producers’ costs have decreased and especially in a time when prices have increased, this is a huge advantage for them.
