Finca Los Angeles is a 23-manzana (16-hectare) farm located in the Ahuachapán mountain range in western El Salvador. Dedicated exclusively to Pacamara coffee, it is part of the Los Naranjos group, led by Sigfredo Corado, a retired agronomy professor from the National School of Agriculture.
The farm participates in the Renacer Program, a technical field school and educational initiative focused on improving farm management practices. Supported by Raices (Roots) and Catholic Relief Services, this program benefits small to medium coffee producers in the area. Sigfredo and a team of six field technicians conduct training sessions, emphasizing sustainable farming techniques.
Classes are held twice a month at Finca Noruega, the sister farm, with three annual modules focusing on soil health through the “4 R’s” program: Right Source, Right Dose, Right Place, and Right Moment. Graduates of the technical school manage the Los Angeles farm, where approximately 3,000 Pacamara trees per section are protected by shade trees and wind barriers.
